NASCAR Cup driver J.J. Yeley's season comes to an end after a promising 30th-place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Despite a strong showing, Yeley and the NY Racing Team won't be competing at Talladega this weekend, marking a setback for the team's 2025 season. With a 32nd-place finish at Talladega in April, Yeley's best finish of 27th at Talladega Superspeedway in October 2024 remains his highest achievement this year. The team's previous superspeedway success at Daytona in August, where Joey Gase placed 28th, is not enough to secure a spot at Talladega. Yeley and NY Racing Team are set to compete in the season finale at Phoenix Raceway, Yeley's home track, before the end of the year. They are not expected to participate in the Martinsville Speedway race next weekend. NBC will broadcast the YellaWood 500 live from Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m. ET. Fans can catch all the action with a free trial of FuboTV.
